Today Queen Elizabeth is alive and well. Just take a look at her beautiful smile!

Unfortunately, as with all humans, there will come a time when the queen leaves this life.

Sadly we won't get to see her filled with joy while playing with her corgis.

We also won't get to see wry smile when she see's a lovely cake.

The loss of the Queen will be devastating for the UK, but at least they have a plan in place for when it inevitably happens.

Just like the President of the United States, the queen also has a secret code name and it's London Bridge.

Her private secretary will be the first person who will be informed of her death.

The next person informed will be the Prime Minister.

The PM will simply be told "London Bridge is down."

In this connected day and age, everyone else will find out fairly quickly.

Though before the news goes public, the governments of various countries will be informed.

There will even be a sign at the gates of Buckingham Palace.

The country will have a period of mourning and Prince Charles will become King.

Prince William and Kate Middleton will become the Prince and Princess of Wales, Diana's former title.

The mourning period will last for 10 days.

Things will be rather emotional during that time.

“It will be 10 days of sorrow and spectacle in which, rather like the dazzling mirror of the monarchy itself, we will revel in who we were and avoid the question of what we have become,” says The Guardian.

It doesn't end there. There is still the question of how people can pay their respects.

Before she is buried her coffin will "lie in state" for four days.

On the 12th day after her death, a funeral will be held at Westminster Abbey.

Leaders and heads of state from around the world will attend.

However, the information about where she will be officially buried has not been released.

Let's hope we won't have to worry about this coming to pass for a while.
