This Is What ‘Harry Potter’ Would Look Like With An All Black Cast

Some got a bit over-excited. Some stupefy-d (ahem) their followers by using clever Harry Potter jargon to express their joy.

But others went all Death Eater on us, and began questioning the excellent choice of casting actress Noma Dumezweni as grown-up Hermione. Because you know, she's black and Hermione obviously can't be black

Oh no wait, of course she can, and even if it takes a big old blast of the obliviate charm to wipe Emma Watson's Hermione from your mind, it can definitely be done. If you don't believe me, you should listen to JK herself:

And so the #BlackHarryPotter was born, and some pretty amazing suggestions started flying around for an all-black Harry Potter cast
