Animals are living creatures too, they didn't choose to be in the hands of anyone. We humans took the liberty of harboring them and then we mistreated them. They deserved to be respected and be loved like a family member and not to be forsaken out there.
About 2.7 million dogs and cats are put to rest every year in the U.S. due to overpopulated shelters and fewer homes are willing to adopt them according to dosomething.org. Unfortunately, a lot of them are being deserted everywhere, facing torturous pain and suffering.
