Abdul Jabbar Tunio broke his leg when he was 18 years old. He took a medicine at the time. Since the incident, he started gaining weight gradually. As per his brother, Jabbar's weight situation worsened since last 8 years as he started to gain weight drastically and quickly.
He is now 39 years old and admitted to a government hospital in Pakistan. Doctors are as baffled by the situation as we are. He is not able to move at all. He is not even drinking, eating, or talking. Jabbar is in the hospital for past two months and his situation is not improving at all.

He belonged to a small city in the country called Larkana but no medical institute was able to facilitate him there. So his family brought him to Karachi's Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre's (JPMC). Although the doctors are treating him better here than his hometown but still they are unsettled about the treatment.
When Jabbar reached JPMC, the hospital didn't even have a bed to accommodate him. Fortunately, they have arranged for a custom bed to treat Jabbar as comfortable as possible.

His doctor Javid Jamali said, "Jabbar is suffering from a rare medical condition and is completely bedridden; he can't even move." Whereas Professor Rasheed Khan Durrani said, "Right now, he is not stable but we are hopeful that he will recover. We are trying hard to stabilize the patient. We are trying to ascertain the cause of the weight gain so that we can further proceed with his treatment."

Jabbar was the only breadwinner in the house. He has three daughters, four sons, and a wife. He used to earn his living by selling vegetables in Larkana. Now, he is not able to do anything as he is lying in a hospital bed completely motionless.
