A TV personality has sparked backlash after posting an controversial Instagram picture.
If the first thought that came to your mind was that she posted a racy nude picture, you're wrong. If you think that she pulled a Kylie Jenner and posted a photo of herself in cornrows, you would also be wrong.
The photo this woman posted was meant to be completely innocent, but instead, it fueled an age-old debate that continues to draw differing opinions from moms everywhere.
She has a large social media presence with over 800,000 Instagram followers. She is an avid poster and often adds pictures of herself at events and photo shoots.
And who can blame her? She has a loving husband and five gorgeous children who range from 13 years old to 17 months.
The tiny tot is absolutely adorable and super photogenic. A recent photo that Katie posted of her youngest stirred up a lot of controversy in the online world.
Hundreds of mommies have commented on this photo since it was posted on Jan.31. Some have called the look cute while others are condemning Katie for her decision.
"You have put holes in your child for vanity and not waited until they are old enough to decide for themselves," one person wrote. "This is a selfish decision."
"I have [sic] my daughter's ears pierced when she still 1 month old" wrote another. "It healed very fast and she really looks good with earrings. It is the parents decision if they want it for they child or not."
Katie appeared on the talk show Loose Women to talk about her decision to get Bunny's ears pierced.
"How about kids who get circumcised? They don't have a choice," said Price. Kieran, Price's husband, is half Spanish and Price said that it's a tradition in his culture to get children's ears pierced when they are young.
Princess and Bunny have different fathers. Princess's father didn't want her to have her ears pierced, and Katie has respected his opinion.
Is there such a thing as being "too young" to get your ears pierced? Perhaps the debate will never be settled.
