Some experts are critical of Stein's massages, saying they could be considered unsanitary and lacking in hygiene.

"About 10 to 15 percent of human bite wounds become infected by bacteria. There is also the potential for transmission of viruses like hepatitis B," says Dr. Holly Philips, as reported by the Metro UK.

Dorothy Stein, otherwise known as "Dr. Dot" by her celebrity clients, makes a living massaging the rich and famous.

Stein's celebrity clientele isn't what makes her noteworthy, however. While her massages are known to be among some of the best that money can buy, Stein also uses a "biting technique," where she literally sinks her teeth into her client.

"My mother was always asking me to massage her and my hands were too little to be effective, so I started using my mouth. The jaw actually has some of the strongest muscles in the body, so I can get my teeth in and really release the knots," says Stein, as reported by the New York Post.

Stein's methods, while unconventional, were becoming well known. Always a fan of music, Stein looked for ways to get into shows for free, and offered up her massage services for free in exchange for entry to a show.

"Instead of going the groupie route, I decided to provide a real service other than sex," she recalls. "I said I wanted to go on tour and would massage everyone for free. I also sent my picture and I was smoking hot!" said Stein, as reported by the New York Post.

Stein claims that biting her clients also helps the blood circulate much better while she's giving massages, and also pulls her client's hair as a way to relieve tension from the scalp.

Stein charges anywhere between $150 to $400 an hour for her services, and celebrities like Kanye West and Katy Perry have hired her to help them relieve stress, although not all of her clients opt for getting their skin bitten by Stein.

"[Mick Jagger] said having my lips on him would send him over the edge, and he wouldn't be able to control himself," said Stein, as reported by the New York Post.

Stein however, isn't afraid of any potential bacteria, saying in her 30 years of service, she's been exposed to nearly everything. "I've seen it all and smelt it all," Stein told the Mirror UK.

Nowadays, instead of touring with rock stars, Stein lives in New Jersey with her three year old, and is working on her own line of massage oils, while also working on her memoir titled "Before I Forget," reports Your Tango.
