Two women were left with horrific injuries after a thug stamped on their faces during a late-night attack which was apparently random.

Rachel Carr, 22, was dragged from her wheelchair
Louise Davies, 23, was also knocked to the ground during the terrifying assault in Southend.
Louise Davies suffered a suspected broken eye socket.

The next thing the pair remember is their heads smacking against the pavement as the man stamped on their faces.
A man has now been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm in relation to the attack.
