#1 Old Toys You Should Have Kept

You'll probably kick yourself when you find out what these toys are selling for today. The toys listed below are not even considered "vintage" but are still selling for a ton of cash in the original form. A lot of these toys were remade or repackaged years later, but the ORIGINALS are selling on sites like Craigslist or eBay for big bucks. Do you still own any of these?

#2 Original Lite-Brite

We all loved putting the colored pegs into the holes to create beautiful lit up designs. Yours is probably long gone, but if you had an original Lite-Brite you could sell it for over $200 on eBay.

#3 Furby

Furby made a comeback recently but the original toy is selling for an unbelievable $600. The furry, big-eyed, beaked toys would speak in a made-up language and interact with their owners, but the weirdness of them frightened some children and they faded out as soon as they made the big time. Yours is probably rotting in a landfill somewhere.

#4 Mario Kart 64

The highest-priced cartridge currently is listed at $2,500! One of the most universally beloved games in Nintendo history, the original Mario Kart is still played by children and adults alike. And while you can still buy a new Mario Kart 64 cartridge for a moderately reasonably price, some eBay sellers are offering ORIGINAL print mint condition copies.

#5 Hit Clips

Just before the iPod came out, the Hit Clips were the way to play your favorite songs on the go.. They operated similar to a cassette player, but the cartridges sold for around .99 cents and you could insert them into the player and listen with the earphones. Once selling for about $15.99, the original clip and cartridges are going for over $100 on eBay.

#6 Pokeman Cards

I never got into this craze, but when the Pokemon first hit the scene in the mid-90s, it boomed into a full-fledged worldwide phenomenon. Every kid at the time was trying to get their favorite cards. Now, these cards are selling for thousands online. A Raichu card is up for $10,000 on eBay currently, and several other rare cards are going for similar prices! One collection of 200 cards just sold online for over $12,500.00.

#7 The Easy Bake Oven

Every little girl had this, and it has evolved over the last 50 years. But if you have an original, and it is in good condition, still in the box, and has the accessories, you could sell it to a collector for around $375.

Made by the makers of the NERF ball, Super Soaker made a variety of different water guns that provided countless hours of fun for kids every summer. #9 LEGO Collection Sets

Legos have been a staple in children's toys for many years now. They are great for both boys and girls, and are great for teaching building skills. Back in the day, Legos would come out with a "collection" set. Sometimes based on a comic book, a TV show, movie, or storybook. These sets are now selling for a fortune! It's probably safe to say, even if you have a billion legos, you don't have a full collector set. This Star Wars Millenium Falcon set is going for $12,000!

Polly Pocket was a huge deal in the 90's,and every girl wanted the collection. #12 Socker Boppers

Socker Boppers were the inflatable boxing gloves that allowed kids to punch freely without harming anyone. The vintage toy goes for up to $90 on eBay. Yours probably popped and got thrown in the trash like mine did, but $90.00 is good money for a toy that sold originally for $9.99 at department stores in the middle 70's.

#13 Teddy Ruxpin

One of the best selling toys of the 1980's, Teddy Ruxpin is an animatronic bear that can read stories to children. His mouth moved to the words that were on the cartridges you inserted. It also allowed the child to record his own voice and watch Teddy repeat it. They went for $50.00 when they were the top seller, but an original, in good condition, with a few cartridges can be sold for over $500. today on eBay. Not bad for a weird bear.
