United States President Donald Trump, while attacking his former Democratic presidential rival Hillary Clinton, has challenged her to run against him again in the 2020 US presidential election.

Trump attacked Hillary Clinton as “the worst (and biggest) loser of all time,” in a tweet.
“Crooked Hillary Clinton is the worst (and biggest) loser of all time. She just can’t stop, which is so good for the Republican Party. Hillary, get on with your life and give it another try in three years!” Trump tweeted.

The President said: "I was recently asked if Crooked Hillary Clinton is going to run in 2020? My answer was, 'I hope so!'.
After losing the Presidential bid last year, Clinton has remained out of public life and hinted at not contesting election again.

In response, the former secretary of state described Trump as “obsessed” with her.
“Apparently, you know, my former opponent is obsessed with my speaking out,” she said at the event held to commemorate the 25th anniversary of her husband’s election.
“Apparently there was another, somebody told me, tweet today. Honestly, between tweeting and golfing, how does he get anything done? I don’t understand it. Maybe that’s the whole point.”

Trump’s latest attack against Clinton comes just hours after Clinton slammed Trump for not taking responsibility for sexual assault allegations made against him.
She said that Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) had taken “accountability” for his actions after a radio host accused him of forcibly kissing and groping her.

“I don’t hear that from Roy Moore or Donald Trump,” Clinton said in an interview Friday, referring to the Republican Senate candidate in Alabama accused of sexual misconduct involving teenagers. “Look at the contrast between Al Franken, accepting responsibility, apologizing, and Roy Moore and Donald Trump who have done neither.”

Some Hillary supporters are holding out hope that she will try again for the Democratic Presidential nomination in 2020. Should she attempt to mount another run, the pundocracy will likely say that she had her turn and is a voice of the past.

It is a difficult endeavor, with a small window of opportunity, everything must go right for her. However, there is a plausible avenue for Hillary to mount a comeback and capture the Democratic presidential nomination and win the presidency in 2020.

Clinton had been leading Trump throughout the campaign in most of the polls except for the last week of the election when she lost ground to Trump.
In an interview with CBS News, she conceded that she might have “missed a few chances” to connect with voters and counterattack Trump during the campaign.
