#1 Rose Leslie and Kit Harington

Ygritte and Jon Snow fell in love in the amazing TV series Game of Thrones, but Rose Leslie and Kit Harington were actually a real-life couple at the time.

Although they've kept it rather private, Kit and Rose began dating soon after she joined the cast as Jon Snow's enemy turned lover turned enemy Ygritte.

Speaking of meeting Rose in Iceland, Kit said: "The country is beautiful, the Northern Lights are magical, and it was there that I fell in love.

"If you're already attracted to someone, and then they play your love interest in the show, it becomes very easy to fall in love."

#2 Courtney Cox and David Arquette

They had a flirtatious relationship on the screen while filming the movie Scream in 1996. They married in 2003 and had a daughter named Coco in 2004. Unfortunately, their union did not last and they divorced in 2013.

#3 Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson

Katie and Joshua actually dated in real life before their characters got together in the show, having been in a relationship for the first couple of seasons.

Years before she married Tom Cruise, Holmes revealed in a very sweet interview with People back in 1998 that Joshua was actually her first love.

She said at the time: "I'm just going to say that I met somebody last year. I fell in love. I had my first love, and it was something so incredible and indescribable."

#4 Maggie Q and Dylan McDermott

As partners on CBS's Stalker, Maggie Q and Dylan McDermott found something far more savory than the crimes they chase onscreen: each other. The two stars met on set and announced their engagement in January.

#5 Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively

It’s not hard to see why these two beautiful people met and fell in love. Though The Green Lantern flopped at the box office, love triumphed. Blake and Ryan were married in 2012 and welcomed a daughter named James in December 2014.

#6 Adam Brody and Rachel Bilson

These two managed to stay in a relationship on screen for at least half a season, even though they sadly broke up in real life after three years together.

They've both since found love with other actors (Bilson has been with Hayden Christensen for nine years, and Brody is married to Leighton Meester).

#9 Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev

This famous couple not only fell in love on the Vampire Diaries but also away from the cameras, in real-life. They dated for three years, but their relationship ended, and Ian is now married to the actress Nikki Reed, who played Rosalie in the Twilight movies. Coincidence, much?

She told Seventeen in 2012: "Sometimes you can't help who you have a connection with, and you can only fight it for so long. I didn't want to be dating one of my co-stars – my goal on the show was to be professional."

#10 Alexis Bledel and Milo Ventimiglia

Fans loved the dramatic relationship between Rory and Jess on Gilmore Girls, and apparently, there was something real about that onscreen chemistry - Alexis Bledel and Milo Ventimiglia dated for four years.

The pair had even talked about the possibility of marriage but broke up just as Milo left the show.

She said back in 2005: "I think everybody who has been dating for more than a couple of years probably talks about it at some point. It's a fun thing for us to talk about, but that's it."

She has since got married to actor Vincent Kartheiser, whose Mad Men character Pete had a brief fling with Alexis's character Beth Dawes in 2012. They had their first child together in 2015.

#11 Emily Vancamp and Josh Bowman

Playing a couple on the ABC drama Revenge, laid the foundation for this couple to start dating in real life.

Their onscreen relationship was fraught with deception on Revenge, but there appears to be far less drama in the real-life romance of Emily VanCamp and Josh Bowman.

#12 Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas

How sweet is this: They place a romantic-sounding couple on TV Snow White and Prince Charming on Once Upon A Time, and in real life, Josh has become Ginnifer’s Prince Charming. The two were married and have one child together. What a fairy-tale ending.

Bill and Sookie's vampire/human love affair didn't turn out so well for them on True Blood, but outside of Bon Temps, things are going quite well for Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer — the married pair now have a couple of kids. I still wonder if he calls her "Sookeh" at home.

#19 Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell

Their relationship is fraught with espionage and disguises on The Americans, but for the couple who play the Jennings duo, Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys, things are far more simple. The couple have been quietly dating and had a child together in mid-2017.

#22 Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher

It's almost too perfect that Jackie and Kelso are together. We loved their on-and-off relationship on That '70s Show, but we're glad their current pairing has led to a marriage and baby.

#23 Jerry Ferrara and Jamie-Lynn Sigler

On Entourage, Turtle doesn't have the easiest time catching the ladies' attention — until he starts dating Jamie-Lynn Sigler, who plays herself. After her guest-starring role in 2008, the couple stayed together off screen until 2009.
