Two Different Moms Deliver Babies, Then Doctors Realize A STUNNING Similarity Between Them...
#1
Tara and Jessica are not only friends and neighbors, but they're also new moms to baby girls and they've both recently suffered a heartbreaking loss.
#2
When they first conceived, Tara was carrying twins and Jessica was carrying triplets. However, Jessica's triplets were sharing only one placenta.
#3
Same with Tara's twins. As a result, both of their doctors diagnosed the expecting mothers with a dangerous condition called TTTS, which can strike during pregnancy with multiple babies.
#4
TTTS is otherwise known as twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome or triplet-to-triplet transfusion syndrome, and it's a condition of which all expecting mothers should be aware.
#5
When babies share a placenta, the results can be deadly as they may receive an inadequate amount of blood and nutrition. Despite undergoing surgery to save all three of her daughters, Jessica lost Ashley. Tara lost one of her twins, Kensington Faith.
#6
Now, Tara and Jessica are teaming up in a national effort to raise awareness about TTTS. They want to honor their late daughters and warn other parents before it's too late. "Once you know you are having multiples, you have to have frequent ultrasounds with a specialist," Jessica tells the news.
