There are strange things that happen all the time, and many are unexplainable. But these weird mysteries remain unsolved and will give you the creeps.
#1 The Kentucky Meat Shower
March 3, 1876, in the state of Kentucky it rained fresh meat from the sky for over four minutes. Reports say that the locals said the meat tasted like lamb or deer. However, researchers say the meat was that of lungs from a small horse or human infant. The biggest mystery is, why did the people eat the mystery sky meat to begin with? The case has never been solved and there are no other cases such as this recorded.
#2 The Exploding Head
Exploding head syndrome is a condition where a person experiences an unpleasant exploding sensation in their brain. The explosion sensation is usually accompanied by a visual static. It is most likely caused by stress but some people believe the condition is a link from the human brain to another universe or dimension. The actual cause remains unknown.
#3 The Dyatlov Pass Incident
In 1959, nine hikers went missing on Siberias "Mountain Of The Dead". Their tent was found ripped from the inside, while their bodies were found partially naked in the snow. None of the dead had external bruises or scars but three bodies had internal injuries so bad that the coroners believed they had been hit by a truck. Oddly, their bodies all tested positive for very high levels of radiation. One hiker was completely missing her tongue.
#4 The Mary Celeste
Seven experienced sailors set sail with 9 months worth of supplies on the American ship The Mary Celeste from the Bay of Gibraltar. Just one month later the ship was found floating at sea in perfect condition adrift in the choppy seas of the Atlantic in the area considered now as The Bermuda Triangle. The only thing missing; was the entire crew! They were never heard from again.
#5 The Hum
By the middle of the 1970s people worldwide were reporting that they had been hearing a strange humming sound. The noise only seemed to be heard at night and was reported in several different locations around the globe. As well as keeping people awake, it has been known to cause nausea, dizziness, nosebleeds, and depression. It was first diagnosed as tinnitus but after so many suicide attempts it was further investigated and found that no sound detection devices could pick up the humming sounds and it was not internal. After forty years the origin of 'the hum' has yet to be discovered, but it is still reported to physicians on a regular basis.
#6 Russian Radio UVB-76
Since 1992 a short wave radio station located somewhere off the coast of Russia has been transmitting strange signals and sounds. Its whereabouts have not been determined and even governments from other countries can not locate its origin. The grinding buzz sound has been nicknamed 'the buzzer' and before 1992 it was just strange morse code style beeps. After 1992 it seemed to change and a male voice was added to the broadcast. The voice repeats a set of numbers and words that have even Russian officials baffled
#7 The House That Dripped Blood
Minnie and William Winston became the talk of the country in 1987 when their six room Atlanta house began seeping blood from the floorboards and tiles in the bathroom. After Minnie noticed the drippings she alerted Winston and they called the police. Homicide detectives tested both of the Winstons and found the blood did not match but it was in fact, human blood. They had no idea where the blood was coming from since they had lived in the single house for over 40 years. The Georgia crime center never determined the source of the blood and ruled out that it was a hoax or a crime after newspapers began calling it "The House That Dripped Blood."
#8 The Cecil Hotel Mystery
In 2013 a student from Vancouver BC was found dead inside the Cecil Hotels rooftop water tank in Las Angeles, California. The coroner ruled the death as accidental due to drowning but nobody is sure how 21-year-old student Alissa Lamb found her way into the rooftop tanks. The coroner determined she had no alcohol or drugs in her system at all but hotel surveillance video followed her from place to place as she made her way to the rooftop via the elevators and stairs, and she appears to be conversing with an unseen form as she steps in and out of the hallways and jumps on and off the elevator and stands in the halls of the hotel. Her arms gesturing as though she is arguing with someone, and her mouth moving as in conversation. After that, she made way to the alarmed roof and somehow ended up in the tank, which had an opening of only 16 inches. Her body was not discovered for two weeks after hotel guests complained that the water tasted funny. The mystery has not been solved to this day.
