Reality TV Star Sparks Backlash After Fans See Her 'Gross' Interaction With Dog

Reality TV star Vicky Pattison has stirred a major debate online after showing what she regularly does with her pet dog.

Of course, people adore their pets, especially dogs, and everyone has their own way of showing affection. But not everyone agreed with Pattison’s version of affection, which many found unsettling.

The British TV personality shocked fans by revealing a display of love toward her dog that made quite a few people uncomfortable.

On August 22, Pattison shared a joint Instagram post with pet food brand Butternut Box to promote their new YouTube series, Walkies. While the series was the main point of the post, it wasn’t what had people talking.

Appearing alongside her dogs Max and Milo and a woman named Aisha, Pattison stunned viewers when one of the dogs began licking inside her mouth—and she even leaned in further to open her mouth wider for it.

That moment immediately had viewers cringing and questioning why she thought this was okay.

Aisha admitted she also does the same thing, jokingly calling Pattison ‘gammy’ before revealing she allows it too.

Pattison then responded: "I'm so sorry. Like, you know, it makes them happy." before letting the dog lick inside her mouth once more.

But while the two laughed it off, many on social media made it clear they weren’t amused, and their reactions ranged from shock to disgust.

Unsurprisingly, even with Pattison’s huge fan base, she didn’t find much support for this. And that included plenty of fellow dog lovers who still thought she had crossed a line.

Commenters on her Instagram were quick to express exactly how disturbed they were by the act, leaving little room for misunderstanding.

One horrified fan wrote: "Omg Vicki no!!! I loved my dog more than life itself, I wouldn't mind her liking my nose/face or hands etc. I'd also kiss her above her nose & her head, but there's no way I would ever let her kiss me by licking my lips & definitely not by licking inside my mouth."

Another added: "I love my dogs more than anything but after seeing them licking their bits I couldn't."

A third disgusted commenter said: "This is so disgusting. Then you kiss your partner and kids after that, spreading bacteria."

And someone else wrote: "I think u r great and love your stories but for god sake why would u do this, dogs carry so many parasites from eating all sorts while out on walks let alone licking their own backsides, just wrong."

Another person summed it up simply with: "That is actually so disgusting and unhygienic. It's so wrong on so many levels."

Adding to the mix, Pattison’s husband Ercan Ramdan joked in the comments: "The dogs get better kisses than me."

For many fans, though, this was one video they desperately wished they hadn’t seen.
