#1 It’s been almost 20 years since Titanic was released and amid debates about whether or not there was room on that door
people are still talking about the film's alternate ending.
#2 While the actual ending saw Rose returning to the Titanic after keeping her promise to Jack
and dying at a grand old age of 100 (after living a full and happy life), James Cameron also filmed a stand-off between the old lady Rose and Brock.

#3 This ending imagined what would have happened if Rose had been interrupted
as she tried to throw the Heart of the Ocean into the sea..
#4 While we can see its merit, we’re very, very glad that Cameron opted for the finish that he did.

#5 What many fans may not be aware of is that there was an alternative ending
that was nearly used and as far as we're concerned, it would have ruined everything.

#6 While the video has been out there for a good few years,
if you haven't seen it before, he is a good time to experience the horror of what could have been:

#7 Thankfully, the tense stand-off between Rose and Brock didn’t make the final cut
and we much prefer the more sentimental and peaceful tone of the ending that reached our cinema screens in the late 90s.

#8 Titanic grossed $2.187 billion at box office and starred Kate Winslet and Leonardo di Caprio as doomed star-crossed lovers Rose and Jack.
Now, if they released an alternate ending where there WAS enough space on the raft, we wouldn't be so against that.
