Kids are bound to get into trouble at school, it's what they do; that's alright though because those mistakes are what they're supposed to take lessons from for the remainder of their lives.

Naturally they should be punished for whatever they've done, but that doesn't give permission to take it overboard, especially when it's not even your kid.

Shana Marie Perez witnessed the principal at her son's school do something she never thought she'd see in this day and age, giving him a paddling! While the Jasper County, Georgia school itself is pro-spanking, she'd signed a waiver at the beginning of the school year withdrawing her child from the list of allowed children. That apparently doesn't matter to the school officials.

Her son was in trouble for trying to hit another kid and spitting on another in the process, an incident usually paired with something like suspension. School officials should not be allowed to use physical punishment as a way to force children to follow their rhetoric when there's more proven (and much less violent) methods to do so. This is rage-inducing!
