What The Cast Of 'The Wire' Looks Like Almost 15 Years Later

It's hard to believe that it's been almost 15 years since The Wire's first season! This American crime drama was originally released in June of 2002 and if you had HBO back then, you most likely loved this show.

The Wire is known for its exploration of society and politics as well as its realistic portrayal of urban life. Although it never won any awards throughout its 5 seasons, it's still considered as one of the greatest television series of all time.

Here's what happened to the actors that made the show possible!

One of the main characters was Dominic West. West was offered the role of Mance Rayder in 'Game of Thrones' in 2012 but turned down the part. A couple years later he played in 'Pride' as a gay activist and currently he stars as Noah Solloway in 'The Affair'.

Deirdre Lovejoy is known for her role in 'The Wire'as the charactor Rhonda Pearlman. But Bones fans also know her as the brilliant serial killer, Heather Taffet, aka The Gravedigger. She's also appeared on 'Girls', 'Orange Is the New Black', 'American Horror Story', 'Saving Grace' and many more.

Besides his role in 'The Wire', Tristan Wilds played the role as Dixon Wilson in the teen drama series, '90210'. The show ran until 2013. In 2015 he starred as Adele's love interest in the music video for her song ‘Hello'.

After 'The Wire', Corey Parker Robinson appeared in 'The Corner' as R.C., a young drug dealer, a small role in 'Homicide: Life on the Street' and a few more minor roles.

In 2016 he appeared in an Apple commercial with retired NBA player Kobe Bryant and is tied into the storyline for the video game 'NBA 2K17'.
