Bring a friend over to show him your bed, if he's jealous you're doing it right. Now get him to help you with that headboard.

Is your pulse racing? It should be. Get excited about your daybed and it will get excited about its own creation. Finish screwing in that headboard and move on to the painting.

It's time to get some color into your wood. You want your bed to look pretty don't you? Of course you do.

You'll want to add some timber cladding by screwing it into the headboard.

Line your bed with Geo-fabric to prevent ‘dirty things' (probably dirt) from going through the cracks, but it will also allow moisture through when the bed is full of water.

When its time for topsoil, make sure you make it nice and smooth, you're going to want it to be as flat and even as possible.

Add water crystals to the soil, because why the hell not? Water crystals are super in right now. Plus you wont have to water your bed like a crazy person.

Carefully roll high quality grass (your body will thank you for it later) over the bed to finish the look and stand back and marvel at the fact that you now have indoor and outdoor beds (your bed empire has begun).
