#1 Then: Rob Lowe

Rob Lowe is an American actor. He garnered fame after appearing in such films as The Outsiders, Oxford Blues, About Last Night, St. Elmo's Fire, Wayne's World, Tommy Boy, and Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me.

In 1988, Lowe made headlines after a videotape surfaced showing him engaged in sexual activities with two women at an Atlanta hotel during the Democratic National Convention. One of those women turned out to be just 16. Lowe's reputation was ruined and after entering rehab for drug and sex addiction he laid low for a little while.

Lowe was the first male spokesperson for the 2000 Lee National Denim Day fundraiser, which raises millions of dollars for breast cancer research and education. His grandmother and great-grandmother both suffered from breast cancer, and his mother died of the disease in late 2003.

Kevin Bacon starred in the 80's popular film "Footloose," which made him a bona fide star. Bacon, who considered himself a serious actor, didn't imagine he'd be gracing the covers of Tiger Beat and People magazine. His other films of the decade included "Quicksilver" and "She's Having a Baby."

Corey Ian Haim (December 23, 1971 March 10, 2010) was a Canadian actor, known for a 1980s Hollywood career as a teen idol. He starred in a number of films, such as Lucas, Silver Bullet, Murphy's Romance, License to Drive, Dream a Little Dream, and Snowboard Academy. His best-known role was alongside Corey Feldman in The Lost Boys, which made Haim a household name.

Haim's early success led to money and fame. He had difficulties breaking away from his experience as a teen actor, and was troubled by drug addiction throughout his later career. He died of pneumonia on March 10, 2010.
