However, Ramzan's parents claim that it was a tragic incident as it was a prank that went wrong. Police on the other hand are investigating the matter from all angles and any arrest is yet to be made.

A heartbreaking incident resulted in the death of this young woman after her husband jokingly told her that he got married to another woman. Reportedly, the husband pranked his wife about his second marriage not knowing that the wife, identified as Fauzia will take it to her heart to the point that she will take her own life.
According to Latin Times, Muhammad Ramzan and Fauzia had been married for over six years and have three children together. Fauzia lived in Sialkot, Pakistan while Ramzan lived in Dubai.

Ramzan decided to play a prank on his wife not knowing the heavy repercussion he would have to face for it. The husband called Fauzia and said he had married a middle-eastern woman in Dubai and immediately hung up.
Distressed by the news, Fauzia attempted to call back Ramzan multiple times but he never picked up. She then sent him several alarming video messages telling him that she "didn’t want to share him with anyone," Daily Pakistan reported.

Fauzia sent an alarming message of daggers and knives to Ramzan with a warning which said: "Tell me the truth in ten minutes or else I will commit suicide."
When she failed to get the message she killed herself by hanging herself from the ceiling fan.

The police are reportedly investigating the case and so far no arrests have been made.
After the tragic happening, Fauzia's parents filed a police complaint against Ramzan and his family claiming that Fauzia's in-laws tortured her. Ramzan’s parents, on the other hand, refuted the allegations by saying it was a prank gone wrong.

Only a few months back another tragic incident was reported from Kerala, India when a teenager trying to prank his friends on April Fool's Day by staging his suicide accidentally killed himself.
Reportedly, the teenager went to his room after dinner and after considerable time when he didn't come out, his parents checked on him only to find their son hanging from the ceiling fan.
The heartbroken parents then found his phone on the window sill that was live-streaming the incident. Investigation revealed that the teen was trying to prank his friends on April Fool’s Day by staging a suicide scene when he accidentally killed himself.
