Tyrese has been facing a good deal of problems lately. The biggest of those problems being the ongoing bitter legal fight with his ex-wife Norma Gibson. Tyrese even opened up in a recent video and bared his soul to everyone. He seemed to be hinting that he was facing financial distress on top of everything else. Luckily for Gibson, one of his celebrity friends answered the call in a big way.

In a post on his Instagram, Tyrese explained that his good friend Will Smith and his wife Jada had given him an astonishing $5 million to help take care of his ongoing court fees. That's a pretty large amount of money to just hand over to a friend, isn't it? Shows you just how lucky some of these celebs are.

The caption on the Instagram post read: "My wife kept the news away from me cause I've been on with lawyers all day but our family and our sister Jada-Pinkett Smith and my brother Will Smith just sent us 5 million dollars to help keep us afloat. You guys asked me to get off and stay off the Internet now that my daughter's legal fees will be paid!"

Just last week, Tyrese posted a very emotional video (which you can see below) where he shared his anger and frustration with several issues involving his ongoing legal battle with his ex-wife.
Gibson is in the middle of a nasty custody battle and is trying to get a restraining order that is keeping him from seeing his daughter, dropped. At this time it's been 2 months since he last was able to see his child Shayla.
In the raw video, Tyrese revealed that he was struggling financially and reached out to his rich friends to lend him a hand. The Smiths were quick to answer the call.

Gibson said in the recording: "There ain't nobody showing up for me. I've got all these millionaire friends, I've got billionaire friends. I've been there for you, why is nobody there for me?"
He may not have said exactly what kind of help he was asking for but it was pretty obvious to everyone who saw it that he was asking for financial assistance.

Lately, Tyrese has been struggling to find acting roles which has led to a bit of a financial situation. Gibson suggests that this is mostly due to comments made by his ex-wife about him.
He said: "She wakes up and decides on 11 September, this is what I feel like saying about Tyrese. Nobody wants to hire me, Norma. Congratulations."

Luckily for Gibson, two of his more well-off friends were paying attention and answered the call.
I guess what they say is true, You won't get if you don't ask. Maybe I should start asking my friends for money too. Yeah, that probably will not work out too well for a regular person.
