Most people will think of calling the cops immediately, but that's a knee-jerk reaction, truth be told. What if our lovely and trained cops arrive late? Maybe that won't help in fending off the damage that's already been incurred!

Let's take the case of a simple, average, everyday American- John Sullivan. Snoozing unbeknownst to what was to happen to him in the middle of his house on that simple couch, at home in Kansas City, Mr. Sullivan was listless. His wife was too with him while his 4 kids were inside, in the living room on a recent regular day when things started to get a bit dramatic for the American family by about 10 p.m. at night.

Suddenly, Sullivan encountered a burglar who had broken into his home and was pointing a gun at him!

Without wasting much of time, since there wasn't much anyways, John Sullivan decided to hit the burglar with his full-fledged Television set. He charged right at the invader and instantly threw the massive TV that he was standing within inches of. Instantly, the armed robber fled, never to be found again.

This was brave and actually, a well-thought move, one that Mr. Sullivan can be proud of. In the end, when there were no cops, no weapon, a thing as simple as a TV helped him save his family from unsolicited trouble!
