Woman Makes Bizarre Claim In Courtroom That Johnny Depp Is The Father Of Her Child

The defamation trial between Johnny Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard took an unexpected turn Monday when a woman held up a child and shouted, "This baby is yours!" at the Pirates of the Caribbean star.

Judge Penney Azcarate had left the courtroom when the unidentified woman made her outburst.

The woman made an odd announcement, claiming that Johnny Depp is the father of her child.

On Monday, a woman held up her baby to the 58-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean actor and ex-wife Amber Heard and exclaimed, "This baby is yours."

Depp is suing Heard, 36, for $50 million after she wrote an op-ed for The Washington Post in which she referred to herself as a "public figure representing domestic abuse." Heard never specifically mentioned Depp in the piece.

Depp has always denied any allegations of physical violence against his ex-wife. Heard is suing her ex-husband for $100 million in retaliation.

According to the Daily Mail, a mother who was watching from the galley caused an interruption in the Fairfax County Circuit Court on Monday after Judge Penney Azcarate left the courtroom.

According to Law & Crime's Angenette Levy, who was present when the strange incident happened, the woman said to Depp: "Johnny I love you, our souls are connected."

According to Levy, the Hollywood star simply turned to the gallery, waved, and smiled at the woman, as he did several times throughout the trial.

"She held up the baby and said: 'This baby is yours,'" Levy reported. The woman was soon approached by a deputy who had her removed from the court.

"The deputy was like 'You're outta here,'" Levy said, and the woman was expelled from the court.

The outburst caused a commotion in the courtroom which had to be settled down. "It was pretty wild," the reporter noted. "It was a moment."

Levy questioned whether the unidentified woman was waiting in line with her baby in the courtroom at 1:00 a.m.

The woman who had made the outburst was standing outside the courtroom with her baby stroller during the reporter's segment.

The woman later told Law & Crime that she and her husband formulated a plan and that "they thought it was a joke, and thought it would be funny."

"Just FYI everybody," Levy clarified, "Johnny Depp does not have a third baby out there that was at the courthouse today."

The defamation case between Depp and Heard continues this week and is scheduled to conclude on Friday, May 27.
