Equine enthusiasts be warned: Many magical steeds were harmed in the making of the recently released Unicorn Tears Gin Liqueur.
The workers at London-based online gadgets and gizmos retailer Firebox claim to have slayed unicorns to bring buyers this new "magical" booze. The gimmicky gin liqueuryou read that right: gin liqueuris supposedly made from unicorn tears and packs a hearty buzz at 40 percent ABV.

Now you can imbibe yourself on the tears of a truly majestic mythical creature! That's right, Firebox is selling this Unicorn Tears Gin Liqueur for $62 a bottle. No word on whether or not the tears involved are happy or sad, but my guess is, you'll find out after drinking half a bottle. Calling your friends at 4 AM to tell them that you love them? Those are happy tears. Regrettable, but happy. Calling your ex at 4 AM to ask him where everything went wrong? Those are sad tears. Regrettable and sad.

Hey, unicorn tears don't come cheap, just don't drink too much, or the magic becomes a curse.

The tasting notes are described thusly:
Nose: Fragrant juniper rises from the glass alongside Curaçao orange and crisp lemon. Bruised mint leaves and fresh lemongrass brings herby freshness to the nose.
Palate: Big bundles of candied orange peels, flying saucer sweeties and a hint of maple syrup. Touches of pine-y juniper berries and cardamom introduce elements of spices.
Finish: Sweet, juicy orange freshness goes on and on throughout the finish.
I'd like to believe that this is what Legend‘s Lord Of Darkness drank on a daily basis.
