If you watched "The Wire," you definitely remember Snoop.

Felicia "Snoop" Pearson's character on the show reflected her real tough-as-nails upbringing on the streets of Baltimore.

Snoop wasn't exactly known for her looks.

In the penultimate episode of "The Wire" [spoiler alert], as she realizes that she's about to be killed, we're surprised by Snoop's final words: "How my hair look, Mike?" Mike responds, "Look good, girl," then he shoots her. This hardened killer, in her final moment, reveals something that no one in the audience ever considers: she cares about her appearance.

So it shouldn't be a surprise to see that the real life Pearson occasionally likes a good makeover.

She really does look good with dyed hair and professionally applied makeup.

We've never seen Snoop like this before.

Seeing her dressed up, wearing jewelry and heals, reminds us that everyone has layers of personality. Without "The Wire," Pearson likely would have gone back to prison. Since she was given an opportunity to act, though, she's been able to explore other versions of herself.

It's really good to see different versions of Snoop.

While Pearson will always be able to return to the hard edge she portrayed in "The Wire," we can also see her as a suave, playful, and even sexy woman.

Pearson is still active in the Baltimore area.

She's been interviewed as someone who knew Freddie Gray, the man whose death in police custody caused nights of protest on the streets of B-more. She's still helping America understand the reality of her hometown and cities across the county.
