Turns out there are some tiny creatures that go by the name the Demodex, which are tiny tiny creatures that live on your face. In fact, there could be millions on your right now!

This is the Demodex. A tiny creature that measures only a third of a millimeter, and lives on your hair follicles.

These guys are a type of parasitic mite, and are commonly found on eyebrows, eyelashes, you skin, and just about anywhere that could have hair roots!
They are so tiny that you need an extremely high quality microscope to see them in full detail.
They look like some type of worm that arose from the pits of the earth, however most of the time they are harmless to humans.
Some people do experience rash or irritation from these little mites, but it typically only occurs in people with suppressed immune systems.
During the night time, they can also leave the hair that they are staying on and walk around you skin in the dark.
