Now this party goer has unwittingly recreated the comic spectacle after taking a hilarious tumble that has now gone viral.

A video clip taken in Chard, Somerset, shows two girls leaning against a van, one facing forwards and the other facing backwards.

The girl with her back to the van steps away - but her friend clearly doesn't realise the engine has started.

As the van pulls away the woman tumbles face first onto the ground.

The clip instantly drew comparisons the David Jason's famous fall in the classic Only Fools and Horses episode.

And just like that scene - which regularly tops lists of greatest comedy moments - the woman's mishap is proving a favourite online.
