You Will Be Shocked When You See What These Horror Film Actors Really Look Like!

#1 Warwick Davis, Leprechaun

Leprechauns are normally thought of as being happy little fellows with pots of gold at the end of a rainbow. That couldn't be further from the truth when it comes to the antagonist of the Leprechaun horror series. 'Star Wars' and 'Willow' star Warwick Davis, made this role his own with his twisted sense of humor and we couldn't be more grateful for it.

#2 Jonathan Breck, The Creeper

The Creeper is the stuff of nightmares. With his creepy leathery skin, evil grin, and horrifying killing methods, he's a monster that will forever be engrained in our minds. The actor who played him, however, is pretty handsome.

#3 Doug Jones, Pale Man

Doug Jones is the man of a thousand faces. He has played so many roles it's hard to keep count but the Pale Man is one of his most memorable. Thanks to Jones amazing skill as an actor he brought this terrifying, yet human, monster to life.

#4 Javier Botet, Mama

Javier Botet is known as the "Special Effects Man" for good reason. He can play any character and this is especially true for Mama. The character is just horrifying. He's also been featured in The Other Side of the Door, Crimson Peak, and The Conjuring series.

#5 Xan Angelovich, Walking Dead Zombie

When you think of zombies you think of horrible decaying corpses just waiting to rend your flesh from your bones. On 'The Walking Dead' there have been literally thousands of zombies seen over the years. Some CGI, others real people in makeup. One memorable zombie was played by Xan Angelovich, who is actually gorgeous under that makeup.

#6 Tom Fitzpatrick, Bride in Black

Tom Fitzpatrick brought the terrifying Bride in Black to life in Insidious 2. I guess even the happiest day in your life can go horribly sideways with terrifying results. Creepy to say the least.

#7 Bonnie Aarons, Valak

I had nightmares for weeks after watching 'The Conjuring 2.' A big reason for that was absolutely the demon nun Valak. Bonnie Aarons succeeded in portraying a character so terrifying that I still won't speak to a nun to this day! Yikes!

#8 Bill Skarsgård

Bill Skarsgård took a role that people will always remember fondly as being one of Tim Curry's best and made it his own. You have to admit that his portrayal of Pennywise the Dancing Clown was much more terrifying than Curry's. A lot of that is due to special effects but we can't take away from the way Bill amped up the creep factor.

#9 Bonnie Morgan, Samara

Samara is a super creepy little girl that died a horrible death and wants revenge on the world in the Ring series. Bonnie Morgan is a sexy acrobat and contortionist who couldn't be more different than Samara. You can see from the image below that Morgan absolutely has the skills to bring Samara to life. No CGI here. It's all natural. Remember that the next time you watch Samara crawling towards you on the screen.

#10 John Carroll Lynch, Twisty The Clown

Pennywise is probably the scariest clown in the whole world but Twisty the Clown from American Horror Story is definitely a close second. There is just something about him that is much more creepy than your average scary clown. Thank you, John Carroll Lynch, for bringing such a horrifying character to life.
