McDonalds have tried to cover up many things over the year, but finally we have the facts and be warned they will SHOCK you.

#1 Ammonium Sulfate
This is a nasty additive that is used to mass-produce bread. It is also used as a soil fertilizer and bug killer.
Nothing helps mass-produce bread like ammonium sulfate.
#2 Silicone Oil
Did you know your beloved Chicken McNuggets are full of a silicone oil called dimethylpolysiloxane that is used for making contact lenses and other medical items.
#3 Cysteine-L
Chain fast food restaurants use Cysteine-L, an amino acid synthesized from human hair or duck feathers, to flavor the meat.
GROSS.
#4 TBHQ
This is an additive that can be found in a staggering 18 McDonald's menu items. It has the potential to be lethal, but hey, not to worry cause the FDA say's it's ‘SAFE'.
#5 Propylene Glycol
This is a chemical compound used in anti-freeze, e-cigs, and you guessed it, fast food!
#6 Prescription Drugs
If you thought the pink slime scandal was bad prepare to be amazed. Anti-depressants as well as other prescription drugs are added to chicken feed.
#7 Dimethylpolysiloxane
You will find this in almost any fast food item, and also:
Silly putty
Contact lenses
Caulking
Shampoo
Conditioner
Cosmetics
Polishes
Heat resistant tiles
#8 Carminic Acid
This kind of acid is synthesised by Cochineal beetles and used to dye foods.
#9 Cellulose
This is in almost every fast food menu item and is produced from pulp.
#10 Silicone Dioxide
This is more commonly known in industrial sand, and is used to keep things from clumping together like Wendy's chili.
