Zahara Jolie Pitt's Biological Mother Wants To Reconnect With Her Daughter

The mother of Brangelina's adopted daughter Zaharah wants to reconnect with her daughter as she misses her every day. She says she is not asking for her daughter back. She just wants to meet her daughter and celebrate her important days with her.

#2 Her biological mother still lives in Ethiopia.

For anyone who didn't know, Zaharah is the daughter of an Ethiopian woman named Mentewab Dawit who decided to give her daughter for adoption. Jolie adopted the girl believing she was an "aids orphan". Zahara's biological mother says she wants Angelina to keep custody of her daughter after the Brangelina split.

#3 'Please just let me talk to my daughter'

Dawit says that she has received no letters, photos or money from Jolie since the adoption. She wants to hear Zahara's voice and celebrate her important days with her.

#4 She just wants to stay connected with her daughter.

According to her, she isn't asking for her daughter she just wants her daughter to know that her mother is alive and misses her every day. Menteweb says that she lost Zahara when she was an infant but she still felt the grief. The poor mother still lives in Ethiopia where she makes a living by renting two rooms from which she hardly gets £15 a month.

The woman says that Angelina is more of a mother to her daughter than she could ever be and she has provided Zahara a life she would have only wished for but that does not mean she doesn't miss her.
