In a TikTok taken just after the incident at 2:30am, Wehrer shared how she had been forced to jump out of the creep’s moving car.

Wehrer had initially tried to call Ubers twice before she agreed to leave with the designated driver. She then settled to leave with the DD when her friends assured her that a mutual friend had taken up the responsibility.

When she stepped into the car however, the man said, “Since your friend is hooking up with my friend, maybe we should hook up.”

Wehrer was quick to shut it down and said that she just wanted to go home.

He then said, “Have a little fun.”

“And I was like no, I just want to go home.”

She further recounted “But don’t you think since—’ and I didn’t even let him stop the sentence,”

“I opened the car door as it was moving and I jumped out.”

She said he. “Wouldn’t take no for an answer.”

“I’m walking 3 miles home. By myself, in the dark. At 2:30 in the morning,”

She later clarified in the comments that she had reached home safely.

She said that the man in question had been a friend until that incident to which one user replied, “Get a new friend girl, True friends don’t let a friend walk alone for ‘d.'”

She added that when she made the video, she felt scared, unsafe and angry and felt like she needed to share her experience.

Her TikTok attracted many negative comments saying that she had ‘purposefully’ put herself into that situation.

Others however were on her side and cautioned that this sort of situation was all too common and that women shouldn't be afraid to say no.
