10 Amazing Amputees Who Spend Their Lives Looking On The Bright Side Of Things.

Losing a limb has to suck. For people who have never lost a part of their body, it has to be very hard to imagine what life would be like without an arm or a leg. For those who live with this as their reality things are never really the same. For some, that's perfectly fine as they choose to look at things on the bright side and keep their sense of humor. Check out these awesome people who don't let the loss of a limb steal their joy.

#1 Shark attack!

This guy lost his arm from the elbow down but he's not letting that stop him. I assume he was a shark attack victim. What better way to pay tribute to your lost limb than with a humorous shark tattoo where your arm used to be.

#2 It's a perfect drink table.

This gentleman lost his leg but has found an interesting use for his new prosthetic one. It must be nice to have a handy table with you at all times just in case your arm gets tired.

#3 Even though you've got one foot in the grave that shouldn't stop you.

This humorous tattoo doubles as a motivational sentence for this individual. Just because they have lost one limb doesn't mean that life is over. If you stop trying you might as well be dead. Never give up.

#4 I woke up like this.

Dude where is the rest of me? This veteran and amputee decided to snap this funny picture in an attempt to make the best of a crappy situation. Gotta admit, it's pretty freaking funny.

#5 Look what washed up on the beach.

These kids don't know what to think of this man just laying here on the beach. This prank is good for laughs. I imagine that the man pretended to wake up and scare the children and lots of laughter was had afterward.

#6 Never give up your dreams.

This woman didn't let the loss of her arms stop her from being a pilot. Instead, she learned how to fly with her feet. How awesome is that? If she can do that then there shouldn't be anything stopping you from achieving your dreams.

#7 Hoop dreams are real.

For this young man, the loss of his legs should have ended his basketball aspirations. Instead, he overcame his disability and became an inspiration to his entire HS basketball team.

#8 Awww man, wipe out!

This guy took his disability and turned it into an awesome Halloween costume. I bet he's the life of the party wherever he goes.

#9 Speak soft and carry a loud boomstick.

This "Evil Dead" fan took her lost limb and turned it into a chance to emulate one of her favorite movie characters for Halloween. I bet Bruce Campbell would be proud.

#10 Beware the dinosaur.

This lady took the opportunity to snap a funny pic of her prosthetic leg being snatched from her by the decorative dinosaur featured at this park. As you can see from her and the other brave people featured in this gallery, an amputation is only a disability if you let it be one.
