#1 Win A Luxury Funeral

Listeners of the German radio station Radio Galaxy in Aschaffenburg, north Bavaria, got the next best thing when they were presented with a chance to win their funeral. Actually, listeners sent in their own epitaphs in the hopes of winning 3000 Euros (around $4195 at the time of the contest) to be spent on death insurance, which would cover funeral costs. The contest came under fire and even took heat from the Association of German Undertakers.

#2 Win A Baby

Radio station Hot 89.9 in Ottawa Ontario, Canada came up with this contest. Winners would receive in-vitro fertility (IVF) treatments, a value of around $35 000. Or, "Win A Baby!" The contest was under fire by outrages listeners, but it did spur talk locally about the issues of adoption and lack of government aided IVF treatments in Ontario.

#3 Drink Urine for Mötley Crüe Tickets

In 1989 KOMP 92.3-FM of Las Vegas was giving away a pair of tickets to listeners to win Mötley Crüe tickets, and three contestants showed up but backed out. A fourth listener came in and guzzled down the hot brew. He won, but the DJ was fired.

#4 Win An All Expense Paid Naked Wedding

BRMB radio in Birmingham, England, generously offered to cover the costs of matrimony for one lucky couple. The catch... the couple had to walk down the isle nude. Kelly Clinton and Lee Wiggets took the station up on the challenge, and got married on March 15, 2011, wearing head gear and their birthday suits.

#5 Win a Date (With a Rapist)

The dating scene is difficult. So Waukegan radio station WXLC's "Win a Date with Travis" contest was born to send a luck couple on a blind date. It was a fairly straightforward contest, and a woman going by the name Jane Doe ended up winning herself a date with the man the station hailed as a "kind" and "great guy". Except it turns out he wasn't. He raped Jane Doe. She later sued the stations parent company NextMedia for $50,000 worth of damages. Later she sued Travis Harvey, who pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting her.

#6 Win Breast Implants

Billed as "The Breast Summer Ever", this contest by station, 90.3 Amp Radio in Calgary, Alberta, decided too give away a pair of big breasts. Contestants had to submit pictures of themselves and reasons for wanting to get bit t!ts. The reaction to the contest was mixed; some listeners were disgusted, though hundreds of people entered the contest. A transgender woman named Avery ended up winning. She needed them most.

#7 Tattoo Your Penis; Win A Car

German radio station RTL 89.0 had a MINI Cooper to give away. They decided that whoever could perform the craziest stunt live on the air, would win the car. 39 year old Andreas Muller decided to get the word MINI tattooed on his Cooper. Of course, that was the craziest stunt, and he won the brand new Mini Cooper!

#8 Win A Wife

100.3 The Bear in Edmonton, Alberta, gave away the chance to win a foreign bride. They sent the winner to Russia where he would be helped by a matchmaker to bring back a Russian wife. The contest met with protesters who showed their disapproval by picketing the station. So they changed the name of their contest to "Win A Trip To Beautiful Ukraine For 12 Nights And Meet Eastern European Hot Lady Who Maybe One Day You Marry" contest instead of "Win a Wife." Now that's some prize!

#9 Hold Your Wee for a Wii

"Hold Your Wee for a Wii", sponsored by KDND 107.9 of Sacramento, California, is exactly what it sounds like. In 2007, when people were still pretty excited about the Nintendo Wii, the station came up with the contest, which was that the person who could go the longest without urinating would win the prize. One of the catches was that every fifteen minutes, contestants were given eight ounces of water. The last one to break and go to the bathroom would win. Jennifer Strange won the contest, but died hours later of a condition called acute water intoxication. Seven station employees were fired and the station ended up paying out 16.5 million to Strange's family in a lawsuit.

#10 Win A Public Divorce

New Zealand radio station The Rock FM needed a contest for Valentine's Day 2012, but didn't want to do the conventional "LOVE" themed contest. So they decided to give away an all expense paid divorce, provided the breakup occur live on-air, of course. It turns out, when entrant Sam (a woman) was scheduled to call her husband Andy on February 14, 2012, and tell him that she was leaving him, he got her lesbian lover Amber instead. They asked if they were speaking with Andy, Sams hubby, and the woman answered, "No, it's not Andy and it's never gonna be Andy and it wasn't Andy to start with, you fucking idiots." The hosts clearly had no idea how to react. The divorce was quick and easy.
