Amy Slaton, a reality star, just celebrated the six-month birthday of her second son, but her pregnancy wasn't always easy because, at one time, she wasn't even aware that she was expecting.
Amy Slaton, star of 1000lb Sisters, has shared that she didn't find out she was expecting a child until three weeks of constipation had passed.
The reality star, who gained fame alongside her sister Tammy on the TLC program, revealed her second pregnancy in January 2022, and her son was born in July.
Recently, Amy and her husband Michael celebrated their son's six-month birthday, and in a new episode of the program, Amy discusses how she found out she was pregnant.
Amy and Michael are seen in a little film acquired by Metro.co.uk as they announce their wonderful news to the world.
The announcement was a "big surprise," according to Amy, and the pair had been "holding out for a while."
The two were referring to "baby number two" as "Beanie" since they "didn't know what it was yet," Slaton ecstatically said.
Amy then turned to the camera and said: “Two years ago I was pregnant with Gage because I went to the ER because I was so constipated. And with this one, I was like: ‘Babe, I haven’t pooped in three weeks! I’m pregnant,’ that’s how it went.”
Constipation is a typical pregnancy side effect that might continue to bother the woman even after giving birth.
A hardened material that is challenging to pass can form when the colon absorbs water from the feces after it has been in the colon for a long.
Glenn's arrival has been a joy for Amy and Michael, who are enjoying seeing their small family grow.
Slaton is no stranger to bragging about her kids to the world and has proudly shown her "smart" son on social media.
To commemorate Glenn's six-month anniversary, the TLC celebrity recently gave her followers an update on his development.
She wrote: “This boy [is] so smart, he hit every milestone and some. Right now he is working on crawling. He can get his knee up right then he leaps or army crawls.”
After seeing her sister Tammy being brought to the hospital in a teaser for the episode, Amy provided an update.
Tammy underwent a tracheotomy, a surgery used to create a breathing hole in the neck of patients in order to ensure that they can breathe.
