1000-lb. Sisters’ Tammy Slaton Convinced She’s Pregnant Due To Unusual Craving

In a recent episode of the popular reality show, Tammy visited Dr. Cindy Basinski, accompanied by her sister Amy. 

The purpose of her visit was to explore the feasibility of pregnancy following her significant weight loss journey.

During the consultation with the OB/GYN, Tammy opened up about the possibility of already being pregnant, despite acknowledging only a 'slight chance' of it. 

Her basis for this belief, however, is something that might resonate with many.

Tammy confided to Dr. Basinski, “I wanna see if I can conceive. I wanna make sure everything’s healthy down there. I had an IUD put in… it needed to be taken out in 2016. So it’s still in.” 

Just for reference, most IUDs typically require replacement after three to twelve years, indicating that Tammy's has been in place for quite a while, with Amy humorously suggesting it's become a permanent fixture.

Tammy also mentioned that she and her husband Caleb Willingham, who was in a rehab facility out of state at the time of filming (before his passing in June 2023), weren't actively trying for a baby.

Adding to the uncertainty, she couldn't recall the date of her last menstrual cycle.

She said: “There could be a slight chance I might be pregnant now.”

And just wait to hear why she thought this.

“I’ve been craving weird things that I’m not normally craving,” she explained.

“Like water. I’m craving water.”

This led to a moment of baffled silence from both Amy and the doctor, with Amy playfully teasing her sister:

“Bch you ain’t pregnant, you just thirsty. You thirsty bch, go drink you some water. It’ll be alright.”

Viewers on X were in stitches over Tammy’s craving as they said they cried ‘real tears’.

Another pointed out: “The silence was LOUD in the doctors office.”

Others wrote: “I thought she’s goin to say something for real.”

As one put: “THE WAY I JUST F**KING SCREAMED.”
