In the year of "Netflix and Chill," we saw our share of failed attempts at finding that special someone on Tinder. From people posing as a glass of red wine, to matches demanding payment for a coffee date gone wrong, it's never been harder to shift through the multitudes of matches. Hell, we even had several apps pop up this year that matched you with pets. If that doesn't say "I'm going to settle on being a crazy cat person," I don't know what does.
It's surprising that after all the craziness that comes from it, Tinder still continues to be the most popular place to meet people. You'd think that the woman being matched an axe murder would be enough bad press to doom the app, but alas we desperate humans plug on.
Perhaps there will be a time where we finally get past the cheesy pick up lines and gimmicks people rely on to get noticed, but for now we can sit back and laugh at these unfortunate souls who have absolutely zero Tinder game.
