Take 14-year-old Sarah Atchison from Colorado. She went to the doctor due to an "achy" neck. X-rays revealed reverse curvature of the neck. Text neck. Dr. Chat Cotter further explains this condition: "‘Text neck' is where the proper curve in the cervical spine actually gets reduced and can even move forward."
Interesting to note is that he also mentioned that it normally takes years to develop this kind of condition. But just as technology has sped up, so has the physical ailments which result from it.
