#1 Mastering the art of being a super-sleuth.

She'll unfriend you on her accounts because she doesn't want to distract herself from her goals of moving forward. She really does want to move on, but she'll have her moments of weakness when she can't stop herself from checking on how you're doing. Sometimes the only way to do that, without directly speaking to you, of course, is through social media.

#2 Goes out with friends to have fun and ends up hooking up with someone or drunk texting you.

Her friends drag her out (or depending on the girl, it might be her wanting to break free) for some fun, and then she drinks to a point where she misses and texts you. Or maybe she's just feeling lonely. Honestly, it's just hard to tell when you're drunk, especially if the breakup just occurred.

#3 Talk mad sh*t.

While I don't practice this personally, I've known a few women who bad mouthed their exes, some with good reason (he was actually a jerk, a liar, a cheater, etc.) and others for none other than that of bitterness.

#4 She's suddenly a poet.

She puts pen to paper or maybe she types it out on her blog or Facebook. The practice of artistic expression, no matter how unseasoned, is a healing process for some people.

#5 She makes herself feel brand new.

Why is it that some women reinvent themselves post-breakup? New hair, new clothes, new makeup. No, it isn't because they're materialistic. It's as simple as this: breaking up is really hard, and these things, as material as they are, help you refocus on yourself. Plus you see immediate changes, which gives you hope when you're feeling down and out.

#6 Take selfies with friends to show that she's having a blast.

Chances are she has no idea what you're up to and is probably assuming the worst. In her mind, you're probably out with friends or even worse, some other girl. And so, she might post a photo of her having a blast, "too."

#7 Travel and look absolutely gorgeous and carefree while doing it.

Now that you're no longer together, you find that she has the time to do things and go places that she's always wanted to.

Channeling some Banks here: "Cause she's gone and now without her / You all alone, 'cause she's a goddess / You shoulda saw this."

#8 She marathons romantic comedies and dramas, films and books.

Sometimes, feeling the pain all at once is the only way out. While some girls like to party, others will retreat inwards.

#9 Listens to Taylor Swift or some sort of angsty record.

Most folks who have recently gone through a breakup can be perfectly reasonable people, but they're feeling vulnerable. Music is a wondrous thing. That means listening to certain types of songs can make them feel more upset or empowered.

#10 Pours her soul out to her friends over and over again.

She hates sounding like a broken record, but she can't help but talk about it, especially when the pain is still fresh.

#11 She'll change her eating habits.

You might find her gorging on junk food or the opposite, switching to a super healthy gluten-free lifestyle program. This happens because what we eat changes how we feel, physically and emotionally, and no one likes to feel hurt. Hopefully she goes the healthier route.

#12 She proposes to be friends, and sometimes even friends with benefits.

Her body wants to feel pleasure even if her heart feels the pain (unless she's a masochist that wants it all).

#13 She spits some really harsh words at you.

You already broke up and you're beginning to accept it. You thought she was ready to accept it too but suddenly she's throwing words like darts. Hurtful words usually come from those who hurt.

#14 If she has the means for it, she might just move far away.

Some people believe "absence makes the heart grown fonder" while others believe "out of sight, out of mind."

#15 You run into her and she's absolutely charming.

You might have seen her at her worst, but the next time you run into her, she's completely calm, cool, and perfectly adorable. And maybe you'll fall for her all over again... who's the crazy one now?
