There's nothing that makes you more aware of the fact that we are just sacks of meat, water, and calcium than looking at a broken bone. While we try to distract ourselves from the morbidity of it all with cute, brightly colored casts that are covered in our friends' signatures, the truth is that a broken bone is being held together by plaster, and that's gross.
That being said, here are some of the most insane injuries that the Internet has to offer.
