According to Roxy, she was finally ready to take the plunge and cut off her mane as she prepared to go off to college and enter adulthood. It was probably a difficult decision to make after all those years of growing it out, but she handles this epic chop like a champion.
The stylists draw inspiration from a curly-haired Vanessa Hudgens, and once Roxy's new 'do is finished and styled, she looks absolutely stunning. She donated her strands to the charity Beautiful Lengths, where she set a record for longest hair ever donated. Wow!

Roxy has never had 1 haircut in her 16 years of life, leaving her hair long enough to literally TOUCHING THE FLOOR while standing. But she decided to cut the mane before she goes off to college and becomes a woman. The epic transformation was caught on camera by Seventeen Magazine.
