#1 Apple shaped figure

The Apple shaped figure is called so because the weight of the body is gathered in the middle part. Women with such body shape should dress using more vertical lines so that they reduce the softness and roundness of the shape.

#2

Try wearing shirts with flaps that hide the waistline. Try shirts or t-shirts with deep V necks and include straight pants which have a high waistline and stretch a bit. The higher waistline keeps you stomach tucked in.

Women of such body type should avoid anything that looks baggy, for instance Indian style long skirts. Always wear something that gives you a concrete form. Also don't wear any complex patterns or drawings on your clothes.

Try and wear a body shaper under your clothes in order to give a smooth surface to your clothes.

#3 Pear shaped figure

Try and wear pants of darker colors that are made of stronger fabrics and which give the effect of slimness on the bottom part. Try wearing belts that are wider and also wear them low on the waist. Also try wearing shirts that have a little breathing space on the neck.

#4

Try and avoid bright colored pants and especially denim pants because they tend to bring the problem area into focus. Also avoid skin-tight upper body wear that again focuses on the difference between your upper half and lower half.

Hourglass figure is self-explanatory, meaning curves around the bust and the hips with a small waistline. This is the most attractive figure all over the world. But if you wish to dress according to it, try and bring your waist into focus here. Instead of hiding something, try and show something more.

Try wearing clothes that accentuate your waist with simple and solid forms. Things like pencil skirts, wide belts and shoulder straps will make your already narrow waist narrower, so try and avoid them. Wear shirts and t-shirts with off shoulder pattern. The trousers that you wear should fill your thighs and must be straight.

Avoid wearing square shapes. Also avoid anything that has pleats, ruffles or has studs. Your best secret dressing weapon is a fitted bra that spreads around the waist.
