#1 "You can do it"

If your child is taking on a new challenge, you should say I know you can do it. If you show confidence in your child, they're more likely to be confident in themselves. Small tasks that need to be done at school or around the house may seem difficult, or impossible, to your little ones because they have a limited view of their abilities. At this point, it is important for parents to encourage their children and remind them that they have the capability to do what is required of them.

#2 "I'm so proud of you"

Saying these words I am proud of you to your young one gives them a nice feeling and helps their self-confidence. Your kid doesn’t have to be an achiever academically or at sports for you to be proud of him. Be proud of your child for who he is and let him know that. This is how you can help your child build a positive body image.

#3 "Do not give up"

Encourage your children to persist even in the face of all the difficulties that may arise in their lives. Remind them not to give up, but to believe. Repeat this phrase whenever you can so your children will always remember the importance of persevering.

#4 "I believe in you"

Most kids try hard to make it to the Topper’s list in school just so their parents are proud and happy or, in unfortunate cases, parental pressure. Believe in your kid. No one becomes successful overnight. Give him a chance and be the motivation or inspiration that he is looking for. Show your children that you are their number one fan. Show them you truly believe in their capabilities and know the potential they possess.

#5 "I love you"

Make it a habit of telling your child that you love him every day, no matter how mischevious or quiet he is. However angry you are with your kid, at the end of the day, all you can think about is hugging him tight and forgetting what he did. It works in all situations in life.

#6 "You are smart"

A child that feels less intelligent than others will often surrender at the first sign of difficulty, claiming they are simply "not smart enough." To prevent your children from falling into this defeated outlook, praise their intelligence whenever you can. Since you are your son/daughter’s first role models, you telling them that they are smart means much more to them than anything else. If you want to raise a smart kid, tell your kid that he smart.

#7 "You are something special"

Saying these words you are something special to your child lets them know how much they mean to you. Your child's heart will skip a beat when they hear these words. It shows that your child is the center of your life.

#8 "Always do your best"

It is important to teach your children that in any situation they find themselves they should always perform to the very best of their abilities and never accept anything less.
