98 Year Old Woman Moves In To Take Care Of Her 80 Year Old Son

This pair has a very special kind of relationship. Tom was never married and has lived with his mother for his entire life. His mother says she goes to his room every night to say goodnight and is there in the morning to say good morning as well. She also says that she lets him know when she is heading out to get her hair done, and he will wait and watch for her to come back.

Every time she returns from a trip, he comes right to her with open arms to give her a big hug. Tom says he likes where he is living and is even happier now that his mum is there with him as well. He jokes about how she tells him to behave himself and says his mum is great at looking after him.

Ada and her late husband Harry birthed four kiddos. Tom is the oldest, then there is Barbara, Margi, and Janet who sadly passed away at the age of 13.

Before retiring, Tom was a painter and decorator. Ada was an auxiliary nurse. Ada's granddaughter and other family members visit the pair regularly. They say that they are all very happy that Ada and Tom are together.

Debi, Ada's granddaughter, says that there is no parting the pair and the family is happy they are both getting round the clock care.

The care home manager said that it is very touching to see how close their relationship is and how happy that he was that his home was able to accommodate them both.
