A spa has been launched in Glasgow using "gin-inspired botanicals" to give massages and treatments. The retreat was opened last month and calls itself the "very first botanically inspired day spa in the world". The treatments are only “inspired” by gin, but most come with a complimentary cocktail.
A 'Gin Spa' Has Opened And It’s Where We Want To Book Our Next Vacation
#1
What is more relaxing than getting a pedicure? Getting your feet pampered while enjoying a gin and tonic. If this sounds too good to be true, we have great news. Gin Spa is an actual place in Glasgow, Scotland - and it sounds incredible. The spa doesn't have a sauna or swimming pool - so you can stop dreaming of a gin filled jacuzzi tub - but they do provide massages, facials and nail treatments.
#2
Gin Spa's menu starts by asking how you'd like to feel and the options are happy, active, tranquil, pure, energised or detox. Dedicated solely to the botanicals found in gin, the spirit-themed spa offers up massages, facials, pedicures, and reflexology - with products featuring clove, lavender, eucalyptus, and pink grapefruit. The treatments range from massages to facial and nail packages.
Owner Paul Reynolds said."Gin Spa is the first botanical- and gin-inspired day spa in the world".
Packages
If that doesn’t convince you to book a spa day, the offers will. Full packages start at £55 for a 30-minute personally-tailored treatment that comes with afternoon tea. Treatment prices range from £20 for a nail file and polish up to £99 for a "twilight tasting", this involves tea, a consultation, a 60 minute treatment of your choice and plenty of gin.

You can choose from treatments such as a luxury manicure, which includes a hand massage and a gin cocktail, or a head massage, which comes with a complimentary gin and tonic and an aromatherapy chocolate. The spa promises visitors a 'truly unique experience',

Paul Reynolds added "We are focusing on botanical-inspired products for our treatments. We also have a complimentary gin bar that we give to our guests after their treatment…. And where we want to take this journey is the customer is experiencing gin from the minute they come through the door."
Overall, Reynolds described his spa as “the perfect storm of great service, exceptional treatments, product and, of course, gin.” Of course.
