Annegret Raunigk made headlines around the world earlier this year after she revealed she was pregnant with the quads.
Raunigk gave birth on Tuesday to three boys and one girl at a Berlin hospital.

Raunigk decided to have another child after her youngest child, who is 9, asked for a younger sibling, German broadcaster RTL reported.
After going through artificial insemination several times, Raunigk became pregnant with four embryos.

Raunigk was shocked but never considered reducing the number of embryos but she refused to consider it.
The new arrivals increase her progeny to a total of 17 children. And let's not forget her seven grandchildren.

The newborns -- whose names are Neeta, Dries, Bence and Fjonn -- were delivered by C-section and are being kept in incubators for premature babies.
