Neuroblastoma is a dangerous form of Cancer that attacks the nervous system, and it has been the bane of Trucker Dukes for a year and a half. He moved to New York from Hawaii to seek the best new cancer treatments. He has been undergoing chemotherapy for years.

#3 These Firefighters Visited Him At The Ronald McDonald House
Chief Firefighter Jim Grismer was visiting the Ronald McDonald House when he spotted Trucker Dukes. Trucker Dukes looked as if he had just seen his biggest hero... He ran towards Jim Grismer and threw himself into his arms.
#4 The Voluntary Fire Department Of New York Made Him An Honorary Member
The other volunteer Firefighters got together with Trucker Dukes and voted unanimously to make him an honorary member of their fire department. As of right now, the chemotherapy seems to be working wonders, and Trucker is on track to being cancer free very soon.
