A Santa Told This Little Boy Pretty Much the Worst Thing He Could Possibly Say

#1 Anthony Was Excited To Meet Santa

Anthony Maise could not wait to meet Santa and sit on his lap, and tell him what he wanted for Christmas. So last Saturday, when he went to visit Santa on Main Street in Forest City at their annual Christmas Parade, Anthony waited in line like the other children to see Santa Claus in person.

#2 His Brother Took Him To A Street Fair In Forrest City

The day was filled with a trip to Main Street in Forrest City, N.C. where Anthony was escorted by his older brother to the parade and fair, who took a carriage ride and went ice skating before a visit with the big guy.

#3 He Told Santa What He Hoped For On Christmas

Anthony's older brother waited as Anthony, just 9-years-old, finally got his turn on Santas lap in the Santa workshop on Main Street. He asked for an iPod Touch and drone for Christmas and was told he had to be good to get such expensive gifts.

#4 Santa Left Anthony With Some Advice

But it's what Santa told Anthony as he was leaving the jolly old fella's lap that was shocking. And Anthony left the workshop in tears. Some say it was good advice but others believe he was being nasty towards a youngster.

#5 Santa Body Shamed The Overweight Boy

According to his mother, Santa was pretty harsh with her son. He told her, "When he got done, he said, 'Lay off the hamburgers and french fries,'" Anthony said. "And that really just disrespected me, and I felt awful."

#6 He Could Not Stop Crying

Anthony said he went out and started crying. He then tore up his picture that was taken with Santa, his mother reported.

"It affected me so bad that I was crying until I went to bed that night," Anthony said. "And I want to say to him, 'You don't want to disrespect a 9-year-old. Even though what shape and size you are, it doesn't matter."

#7 His Mother Confronted Santa At His Workshop

Anthony's mom, Ashley Mayse, ran to the display later that evening and went in and asked Santa "Why did you say that?" The Santa looked at Anthony and his mother and simply said, "I don't know."

#8 He May Be In Therapy

Although given Santa's jolly belly that shakes like a bowl full of jelly, I'm thinking he might have some projection issues to deal with in therapy. Santa apologized to both the supervisor and the Mayse family and explained things have been rough for him.

#9 His Apology Was Meaningless

"When he went to apologize to me, he didn't even mean it," Anthony said, and they're hoping Santa gets a pink slip in his stocking this year. "He acted like he didn't want to be there to do the job," Ashley said. "I'm hoping he's fired, because I don't want any kid feeling like he did Saturday. I mean, it destroyed him."

#10 He's A Real Bad Santa

That Santa may be going through some issues but he has now ruined the fantasy for Anthony a little earlier than expected. Here's hoping Anthony gets everything he wants for Christmas including the satisfaction of karma coming back to bite Kris Kringle.
