A Toronto Writer Live-Tweeted a First Date So Horrible It’s HILARIOUS

First dates can be really nerve-wracking, and it’s probably safe to assume that your date won’t be the smooth, suave, and charming person they usually are in their everyday life.
But that’s no excuse for having a complete nightmare first date like the one Toronto writer Anne Thériault recently witnessed and live-tweeted.
#1 It begins with Anne catching sight of the disastrous date
#2 Maybe this guy is a little nervous?
#3 Nope, he’s just a moron
#4 James Franco never did seem like the selfless type.
#5 Ugh, writers are the worst. Oh, wait
#6 Is it Starbucks? I bet it’s Starbucks.
#7 Those are some strong opinions he’s got on things he knows nothing about
#8 Oh, God, I can feel the awkward silence from here.
#9 And just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse
#10 MILD panic? Try “about to take the cyanide pill.”
#11 Our brave heroine decides that she would rather be doing literally anything else and tries to get the hell out of there
#12 Which goes completely unnoticed by her totally oblivious date.
#13 This positively reeks of desperation.
