A Woman Accidentally Gets 'Meow' Tattooed On Outside Of Lip Instead Of Inside

A woman who went to get a tattoo on the inside of her lip was upset when she discovered that the tattoo artist had really inked her on the outside of her lip.

Wilma Hägglund, a Swedish woman venting on TikTok, posted a video of herself receiving a new tattoo. However, when she realized she had the word "meow" inked on her bottom lip, she started screaming and crying.

Writing in Swedish, Wilma said via TikTok: "he tattooed on the wrong place in my f****** mouth" before showing the intended design of a woman with the word on the inside of her lip.

When her tattoo is finally seen, it appears far less hidden than her original design.

Since the video has gone viral, many people are wondering how she could possibly have missed what was happening.

Some users blamed her for not being explicit about where she wanted it, while others questioned whether she was drunk when she got it.

One user said: "Were you passed out during? How do you not feel the placement difference? Didn’t you have to hold your lip open? HOW girl how?”

Meanwhile, a fourth added: “I’m literally mad that you just didn’t notice or say anything like this is on you.”

“Why…Did you not notice they were tattooing it outside?” a fifth asked.

Tragically, tattoo failures are common.

A woman had a Medusa tattoo that she requested in April of this year, but the tattoo artist botched it, leaving her heartbroken and sobbing for the entire day.

In spite of Aleyna Renae's detailed description of the mythical woman and her snake-haired hair, the Medusa she saw in the movie had crooked eyes and poor shading.

In the caption, she added: "And the tattoo artist has been blowing up my phone and gaslighting me."
