A Woman Went For A Jog And Found A Stray Kitten Who Desperately Needed Love

#1 A kind young woman went for a jog but came home with a tiny stray kitten who desperately needed lots of help, love and TLC. It is amazing how much one’s life can be transformed with a second chance.

"(I) went for a jog and found this little guy with his eyes sealed shut from an infection," said dmitrigreene. "I gave him a bath, but he was so dehydrated he was trying to drink the water."

"The next day, he was sitting up, but still had a hard time holding his head up. This was when I was really worried he wasn't going to make it through"

#2 The kitty was so small that his face was the size of a teaspoon.

She gave him a very needed flea bath and fed him water to help him cope with dehydration. She named the little buddy Dmitrius.

#3 When it was time for a bath, Dmitrius was so dehydrated that he kept trying to drink the bath water.

#4 Once he got his appetite back, things slowly started to improve.

#5 The woman sometimes worried that Dmitri us wouldn't make it.

The poor little guy was barely the size of her hand, and had never had a mother to teach him how to live.

#6 Then suddenly he starts to play in his mom’s lap and clings to her wherever she goes.

#8 He didn't know how to retract his claws when she found him, as most kittens don't until they're about a month old. But the woman was worried that he might never learn.

#9 All cleaned up! What an adorable little guy!

#11 Slowly though, Dmitrius began to get stronger and more playful ...

#12 ... and he grew ...

#13 He never wants to leave his mom alone.

#14 And he follows her around, demanding lap time.

#15 A kiss to his favorite person in the world!

#16 He’s very affectionate and loves being cradled like a baby.

#17 Now, Dmitrius is a typical, happy cat.

#18 This is what Dmitrius looks like today! Healthy, happy and loved!
