Actors Who Are Most Likely To Make A Terrible Movie
#1
No matter how hard they try there are some actors and actresses out there who just can not please the critics. If you think about it you might already have an idea of who these people are, their reputations of making bad movies seem to be well deserved.
Given that the list excludes B-movies actors, there had to be some standards at which they must abide to qualify. They have to have acted in at least 10 films, had one film make at least $30 million, and made a movie within the last five years.
#2 With that out of the way let’s get to the lists. First off we have the worst actors:
If you thought anyone other than Rob Schneider or Adam Sandler were going to take the top spots then you don't watch enough movies. I was personally surprised to see Ashton Kutcher take the number 3 spot, his movies are rated lower than I had expected.

For actresses it was quit the toss up, there are no actresses that I can think of making consistently bad movies but here they are. Jennifer Love Hewitt apparently can't catch a break, with a track record a smidgen worse than Rob Schneider it's a miracle she can find work anymore.
#4 Now in contrast let’s see who makes the consistently best movies.
Daniel Day-Lewis is officially the best actor, or at least the one who makes the best decisions on what movies to be in. Micheal Fassbender would have easily taken the top spot if ‘Jonah Hex' didn't destroy his average. John C. Reilly has also never made a badly criticized film, despite being in so many comedies.
#5
Now actresses seem to have it easy with several of them not making a badly criticized film. Carey Mulligan, Tilda Swinton, and Marion Cotillard were neck and neck for the top three spots.

Now the main issue is how genres in general are criticized. It's just a fact that horror, comedy, and action movies are disproportionately disliked by critics. Actors and actresses that stick to those genres are going to feel that sting within their own stats. If they want to be better rated then they need to break out and be in much wider accepted genres, John C. Reilly is one of the few who can made the smooth transition between comedy and Drama.
